Betty M. Biechy, 90, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospice- Inpatient Unit - Allentown. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest E. Biechy Sr. to whom she was married to for 49 years before his passing in 2004. Born in Lower Nazareth Township, Betty was a daughter of the late Charles and Annie Stahley (Fogel).

She worked for many years as a seamstress in several local blouse mills, a role that reflected both her strong work ethic and attention to detail. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially her trips to Boscov's and the pride she took in maintaining a warm and immaculate home. Above all, she treasured her family and the time spent with those she loved most. Guided by a strong and faithful Christian faith, she lived with kindness, devotion, and care for others.

Betty will be dearly missed by her children: Deborah Lamson (Bruce) of Saylorsburg, Ernest Biechy, Jr. (Kathryn) of Northampton and Lucas Biechy (Bonnie) of Westfield, PA; 7 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren; and three brothers. Betty was predeceased by brothers and sisters.

As per Betty's wishes, No public services will be held. Her cremated remains will be privately interred alongside her late husband at Fairview Cemetery - Moorestown.
