Barbara Knecht

Barbara A. Knecht Cumming, Ga. Barbara A. (Bickel) Knecht, 92, of Cumming, Ga., passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Accent Care Hospice Center in Cumming, Ga. She was the loving and dedicated wife of John P. Knecht who predeceased her in 2020.

Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Bickel and Frances Willauer. She was a graduate of Easton Area High School, Class of 1951, worked for and had a very successful career at Easton National Bank and Trust Co. for many years, retiring as an officer of the bank. She later worked for Trans Travel and Tours of Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Barbara loved to travel with her husband and family and has traveled around the world. She loved playing cards and took great pride at winning. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, great - grandchildren and one great - great grandchild.

In addition to her son, James Cocco and his wife Susan, of Cumming, Georgia, she is survived by seven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great, great-grandchild; two stepdaughters, Jonice Nerino of Bethlehem, and Kathy Quelet and husband, Keith, of Bethlehem; three step-grandchildren and one step-great grandchild; along with many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was predeceased by her daughter, Cindy Honey Hartz, brother Richard Bickel and sister Doris Stem.

She will be buried next to her husband at a graveside service which will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net.
