With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara A. Cannon, 68, of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, formerly of Kissimmee, Florida, who passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Following a courageous battle with cancer, Barbara's journey came to a peaceful end while surrounded by the love and tender care of her devoted husband, Kevin, who remained faithfully by her side.

Born in Allentown, Barbara was a daughter of the late Charles F. and Ruth C. (Lahr) Fehnel. She was a proud graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1976. Throughout her professional career, Barbara was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. While residing in Kissimmee, Florida, she devoted 17 years of faithful service to B & E Fire Safety Equipment, Inc., where she served as Office Manager until her retirement in 2022.

Throughout the years, Barbara and Kevin created many cherished memories together, enjoying camping trips, boating, and their shared love of dogs. They held a special place in their hearts for rescue dogs, lovingly opening their home and providing a warm and caring environment for many fortunate four-legged companions. In her leisure time, Barbara enjoyed the challenge of word searches and puzzle books, as well as relaxing with a good old-fashioned cowboy movie. A talented baker, she proudly followed in her mother's footsteps, becoming especially known for her delicious homemade cinnamon bread and an assortment of delightful desserts, lovingly prepared and enjoyed by family and friends.

In addition to her devoted husband of 23 years, Kevin, Barbara leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her sister, Lisa M. Reeser of Laurys Station; three brothers, Franklin R. Fehnel and his wife, Annie, of Plainfield Township, Robert K. Fehnel and his wife, Gail, of Carlisle, and Timothy J. Fehnel and his wife, Harriett, of Danielsville; a sister-in-law, Kelly Ann Cannon Carmine and her husband, Scott, of Maryland; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Cannon of Florida; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her faithful canine companion, Sky, who held a special place in her heart.

Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne L. Fehnel, who passed away in 2016.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Barbara on Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. for a public viewing, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 P.M., in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
