Anna L. Kresge, 83, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 03, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township. She was the wife of Warren H. Kresge, Jr.,to whom she was marred 65 years on April 11th. Born in Fountain Hill, Anna was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Yawney) Nordoi. She attended Nazareth School District. A member of the International Ladies’Garment Workers’ Union, Anna worked in the garment industry for nearly 50 years at various mills until retiring in 2007 from A & H Sportswear. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth, and served as a volunteer in the cafeteria at Holy Family School. Anna also served as a volunteer at Moravian Hall Square as well as Vigilance Hose Fire Co., where she was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary. She was a voracious reader, loved baking, and she also enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the pinochle club at the East Lawn Social Club as well as a member of the Silver Sneakers at the YMCA of Nazareth.
Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Warren, she will be dearly missed by her three sons, Warren “Skip” Kresge and wife, Donna, of Stroudsburg, Mike Kresge and wife, Susan, of Harrisburg, and Steve Kresge and wife, Maria, of Nazareth; three grandchildren, Chad Kresge of Ackermanville, Mark Kresge and wife, Amanda, of Harrisburg, and Katie Kresge of Nazareth; three great-grandchildren, Chase, Riley and Harper Kresge;a sister, Agnes Mullner of Cherryville; along with many nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by five sisters, Ellen Rosko, Pauline Seip, Margaret Gilio, Evelyn Hann, and Helen Slutter.
Services: Friends and relatives are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. to 12 Noon in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014. Burial will be held privately with the family at Holy Family Cemetery, Nazareth.
