Alvera Rita Flyte, 81, of Bushkill Township, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026 at her residence. Born in Bushkill Township, Alvera was a daughter of the late Norman and Laura Flyte (Wentzell).

Alvera spent much of her working life in the garment industry, eventually retiring from Majestic. Outside of work, she enjoyed keeping busy with the things she loved most, including crafts, needlepoint, baking, and reading. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church - Pen Argyl and was formerly involved with the Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Company and its Ladies Auxiliary.

Alvera will be remembered by nieces and nephews; a brother: Stanley Flyte of Hellertown.
She is predeceased by siblings: Arthur, Willard & Sherwood Flyte and sisters: Pauline Shall and Irene Beers.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026 in the Wind Gap Cemetery 1422 Church Road - Pen Argyl, PA 18072.
