Alan was a true people person who enjoyed good conversation, people-watching, and offering his own often-colorful commentary on the world around him.
Alan "Al" R. Wolf, 68, of Danielsville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at his daughter's residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Roseann Wolf (Miller) to whom he was married to for 37 years before her passing in 2020. Born in Allentown, Alan was a son of the late Charles Wolf and Joyce Achey (Miller).
A graduate of Dieruff High School, Alan worked for many years as a diesel mechanic with Berger Sanitation and Penske, where his mechanical ability and hands-on nature served him well.
Alan was an active member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, where he also served on Church Council and remained involved in the life of the congregation.
He was a true people person who enjoyed good conversation, people-watching, and offering his own often-colorful commentary on the world around him. A familiar face at the Point Phillips Hotel, Alan even had a barstool bearing his name - a fitting tribute to the friendships, stories, and camaraderie he enjoyed there.
Some of his happiest times were spent outdoors and on the road. He treasured motorcycle cruises with his late wife and later enjoyed riding his side-by-side whenever the opportunity arose. Above all, Alan truly cherished his grandchildren and the time he was able to spend with them.
Alan will be forever remembered by his children: Kimberly Kratzer (Adam) of New Tripoli, Christopher Wolf of Danielsville and Andrew Wolf (April) of Jim Thorpe; eight grandchildren. Al is predeceased by a brother: Donald C. Wolf and a sister: Sue Reichard.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, (Emanuelsville) Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
His cremated remains will be privately interred beneath a memorial tree, continuing the same meaningful tribute chosen for his late wife Roseann. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at: bensingfuneralhome.net. Arrangements and cremation care are under the direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. - Moorestown/Bath.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Emmanuel's Lutheran Church. https://www.emmanuels.org/
