Elaine L. (Moser) Bellis

Elaine L. Bellis, 90, passed away unexpectedly at her residence in Moore Township on Sunday, September 3, 2023.  Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Edwin C. Jr. and Laura M. (Moyer) Moser.  Elaine was the wife of the late Edgar W. Bellis, Jr, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2014.  She was employed by the Northampton School District where she was the head cook for many years at George Wolf Elementary School until retiring. Prior to her employment with the school district, Elaine worked in the garment industry as a seamstress at the former Hochberg Manufacturing in Moore Township.  Although she worked outside the home, she enjoyed the simple life as a homemaker.   At one time, Elaine and her mother successfully operated a home candy business known as Mom and Me.  She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Survivors: Elaine will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her two sons, Edgar W. Bellis, III and his companion, Irene Deluca, of Moore Township, and Keith R. Bellis, Sr. and his wife, Beth, of Lehigh Furnace; four grandchildren, Sarah, Edgar IV, Keith Jr., and James; two great-granddaughters, Joann and Clarissa; a sister, June C. Kuhns of Orange Park, Florida; along with nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, Edgar, she was predeceased by a sister, Armell D. Mann; and two brothers, Kenneth and Edwin C Moser, III.

Services: A Graveside Service will be held privately with the family at Fairview Cemetery in Bethlehem. There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath, PA 18014.
