Cheryl L. Bossert, 63, passed away peacefully at her home in Bushkill Township, surrounded by loving family, on Sunday, February 18, 2024. She and her husband, Carl J. Bossert, celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary last June.
Born in East Stroudsburg, Cheryl was a daughter of the late Albert L Parry and Catherine F. (Pysher) Hawk, and stepdaughter of the late Donald W. Hawk, Jr. She was a graduate of Bangor High School, Class of 1978. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Cheryl relished the role of homemaker and taking care of her family. She also operated a notary service in the Wind Gap area for a few years.
In addition to her husband, Carl, she will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her son, Adam E. Lawson of Bushkill Township; daughter, Tanya M. Hughes and husband, William of Bangor; four grandchildren, Trent Sterling, Malik Bossert, Austin and Hailey Klingle; a great-granddaughter, Layla; three brothers, Albert J. Parry of Bangor, Leroy G. Parry and wife, Mary Beth, of Florida, and Donnie L. Hawk of Bangor; a sister, Tracy A. Sipos and husband, John, of Martins Creek; along with many nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was predeceased by a brother, Brian A. Parry; and a sister, Kimberly A. Walden.
In keeping with Cheryl’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown - Bath.
