Albert W. “Sonny” Bealer, Jr

Albert W. “Sonny” Bealer, Jr., 85, peacefully passed away at his home in Nazareth on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.  He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (Heimer) Bealer, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2007.  Born inHellertown, he was a son of the late Albert W. Sr. and Dorothy (Musselman) Bealer.  After attending high school, Sonny honorably served in the United States Army.  He retired in 1999 after working for 26 yearswith his uncle who owned and operated Pete Bealer Construction Co. in Hecktown.  Sonny enjoyed the outdoors, going to flea markets, listening to classic Country music, and he always looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren who he loved.

Survivors: Sonny is survived by two sons, Terry and Troy Bealer, both of Nazareth; three daughters, Lisa Mills and Theresa Daney, both of Wilkes-Barre, and Susan Bealer of Nazareth; seven grandchildren, James, Tiffany, Kelly, Scott, Ericka, Ashley, and Michael; six great-grandchildren, Jayden, Brianna, Nevaeh, Kaylie, Eli, and Greyson; nieces and nephews.  In addition to his wife, Shirley, he was predeceased by a grandson, Tony Bealer; two brothers, Peter and John Bealer; and a sister, Betty Watson.

Services: A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
